Where have I been???? Maybe he got a job like me, and is too busy, like me. Ya, I do like rants sometimes; we all have them, and we all need to share them. It makes me feel better to know, I am not alone on how I feel about this goofy world.
a little bit of apprication goes a long way. some times i feel this way too. but some one eventually comes along and gives you that little bit of happiness and it sure goes along way. just like a simple thank you. so, thank you for being you, rebecca.

But right now all i can think of is the sun, surf, sand, and the food. it's OK to visit if you are filthy stinking rich. But this is my plight and not everyone goes through this with the state. it's just if you have a problem, they just pass the buck onto some one else and eventually they will send you down a road that is a dead end and then you can't find any help. lawyers will not take on the state. one reason is that the state is protected from being sued. no matter what, you can not sue them for wrong doing. just like the courts for wrongful convictions, and the police for wrongful arrest. Since 911, the Bush administration has pretty much made every one a prisoner in our own country. here's the living proof... When any one fly's in this country weather it be from Chicago to Seattle, or from Chicago to France, you WILL be scrutinized as a potential terrorist and a threat to the U.S.. Man, Woman, and child are treated this way. As long as our government treats us like this, the terrorists have won the war. Terrorism by definition means to strike fear in the minds and hearts of people. and as long as the government is worried, scared, or what ever, the terrorists have won. This whole thing about being scrutinized by my government is a insult to my integrity as a U.S. citizen. At the state I.D. office, there are Homeland Security posters stating that if the staff there thinks they have been threatened, they will have you arrested under the Patriot Act. Just to walk in that office is scary. it's even more scarier when you start talking with them. they try to push you into a state of agitation. If you argue, show anger, or anything like that, you will be arrested under the Act. You don't even have to make a threat. Abuse of power. Problem is, that office would not be there if it were not for your tax dollars, and those people would not have a job, they are public servants and work for us, yet they treat people like shit. That office should be transparent and accessible to the people because it's the people office. I'm tired of the way the government is oppressing the people. and it's just going to get worse. Thank you very much Mr. Bush. I am a combat veteran of the U.S. Armed Forces, and this is a big slap in the face for me to be treated like this after i was willing to die for my country. Fight and die for freedom? Freedom of what? For the government to oppress the people? this is not what i wore my uniform for. Our motto in the service was, "de opresso liber", meaning " free the oppressed". I've said it before and I'll say it again, I AM MORE AFRAID OF OUR OWN GOVERNMENT THAN I AM OF AND TERRORIST GROUP, OR ATTACK ON THE US. Mark my words people, we are heading for very dark times very soon if thing s don't change for the better soon. Some day i will be off this island. where i will go i don't know. Hopefully, to some other Pacific Island... Aloha
