Heartache

My son's girlfriend just broke up with him in March they would have been together for 1 whole year. I am blaming myself, and his father for his heartaches. We should of been better parents, we should of showed him more love, so as an adult he would know how to love, and know how to handle a brakeup. When his father told me he wanted a divorce, I went crazy. We were together almost 18 years, I did not know how to handle this, I was mad, sad, just in shock. I acted like a complete jerk. I have never been one to talk when I am mad or sad, and my son does the same thing. I am feeling more pain now than ever... To see your child hurting, and knowing how that pain feels is just...there is no words for it.
After my divorce, I should of had my son seek help, I tried having him see a conserler, but his father said that was for Crazy people, and he believed him. I should of made him go, no matter what. I know he is still hurting from all the crap of the divorce, moving, and his father not being a part of his life. I lost my job and our home is nuts, full of depression. I know this is not heathy, and we need to make a change soon.
