Police in Kanas City are investigating whether an attack in which two black teens set fire to a white boy was a hate crime.
The Daily Mail reports the 13-year-old boy was walking home from school last week when he noticed the two older boys were following him. He was on his front porch when the teens attacked. They doused him with gasoline and lit him on fire.
CHARDON, Ohio - The FBI and police said five students are injured and a student gunman is in custody after a shooting at Chardon High School Monday morning.
Chardon Police Chief Timothy McKenna said two students were taken by helicopter to Hillcrest Hospital and three were taken to MetroHealth Medical Center.
McKenna said shots were fired at Chardon High School at 7:51 a.m. by a student gunman. He said the student was chased out of the building by a teacher and then turned himself in to two innocent bystanders in Chardon Township.
